A little Rocky Mountain orchid (lady slipper orchid) hand cut pendant. There are several different species of orchids that can be found around the Rocky Mountains. Stunning blooms if you are lucky enough to stumble upon them. Orchids have often been associated with elegance, grace, and beauty.

What is gold filled?
Gold that is mechanically bonded to another metal, at least 1/20 gold by weight. It contains much more gold than gold plate. It is tarnish resistant and does not rub off.
