This rabbit (white tailed jack rabbit) necklace is part of our Canadian wild collection. Featuring Canadian animals, some are at risk or are endangered. The white tailed jack rabbit is very common around Alberta, especially in our neighbourhood. You know when winter or spring is on the way when they start to change colour. The white tailed jack rabbit has been hand cut with a jewellers and is hanging out in a field of wildflowers. Each necklace comes with an information card about the white tailed jackrabbit.

What is gold filled?
Gold that is mechanically bonded to another metal, at least 1/20 gold by weight. It contains much more gold than gold plate. It is tarnish resistant and does not rub off. If you have metal allergies you can usually wear gold filled jewelry unlike gold plated jewelry (please note everyone is different. This is a guideline as everyone will react differently). Gold filled is an affordable alternative to solid gold jewelry.
